Self care is so important! When I hear the term "treat yourself" I immediately think of shopping, or spending money. However not everyone has a balling budget to consistently turn to retail therapy. Here are some FREE ways to treat yoself!

1. Pick up a book & read

2. Take a nap! Put on some coffeehouse music and snooze

3. Shave your legs. Sounds lame lol, but nothing like freshly smooth legs and truly taking your time doing so!

4. Popcorn and netflix, give yourself a date night!

5. Take a bubble bath

6. Journal, even if your not a writer, writing things down in a notebook of how you are truly feeling is so therapeutic

7. Go for a run!

8. Take the day off and do nothing but relax at home

9. Declutter - I love cleaning and organizing, makes everything feel new around you

10. Talk to a girlfriend you haven't spoken to in awhile

I love facemasks, especially if you can make them yourselves. Here's some recipes for scrubs/masks/etc.

Coffee Mask for Clear and Smooth Skin

1 tbsp of instant coffee or coffee ground & 1/2 - 1 tbsp milk (2% or whole)

Coffee Mask for Bright and Glowing Skin

1 tbsp of instant coffee or coffee ground, 1 tbsp tumeric & 1 tbsp yogurt

Coffee Mask for Firm and Tight Skin

DIY Teeth Whitening

Lemon juice and Baking Soda

Vanilla Brown Sugar Scrub

1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup oil (almond, olive or coconut work best), 1/2 teaspoon, vitamin E oil and 1 teaspoon real vanilla extract

Snow Cone Sugar Scrub

9 tbsp coconut oil, 6 tsp sweet almond oil, 1 cup granulated sugar, watermelon oil, lime oil, raspberry oil, red, green and blue food coloring.

Directions: For each color, mix together 3 tablespoons coconut oil and 2 teaspoons sweet almond oil. Stir 1/3 cup granulated sugar into each color. Add a couple of drops of flavored oil for scent and a drop or two of food coloring to tint the sugar scrub. Watermelon oil in the pink sugar scrub, lime oil in the green sugar scrub and raspberry in the blue sugar scrub.

Tilt an 8 oz wide mouth mason jar to the side and spoon in the colored sugar scrub, one layer at a time.
